BookTrust's Great Books Guide 2026

Booktrust are the UK's largest reading charity and guess which book features in their 2026 Great Books Guide?

The Mole And TheMound (and the House Underground)!!!!

Holy moley! Can you believe it...?

You might recognise the BookTrust logo from when they provided books and resources to your son/daughter, as they do every (yes, you read that right - EVERY!) newborn baby across the UK as part of their Bookstart programme.

And to think they enjoyed The Mole and the Mound (and the House Underground) enough to recommend it in their 2026 Great Books Guide, well, that's HUGE!!! 😁🎉

I honestly NEVER expected for Mole to receive the amount of love that he has! I've had a surprising amount of messages from parents who's kids have asked them to read Mole several times in one sitting at bedtime, and from teachers that have really enjoyed SCOOP, WIGGLE-WIGGLING along to the refrain of the story with their classes. It's a huge privilege; it always will be; so... thanks a million for every single one of you supporting this journey alongside everything else!!! 😊🎉📚
